HC attaches salary of Higher Education Deptt 1/4/2015 12:20:58 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 3 : In a contempt petition filed by one Dr Girdhari Lal Dogra for not implementing judgment of the High Court, Justice Janak Raj Kotwal ordered that salary head of Govt Higher Education Deptt, to the extent of salary of all the Gazetted officers of the Administrative deptt is attached till the salary component is deposited in this Court and directed Director General Treasuries shall ensure that court order is strictly complied with. Earlier after hearing Sr Advocate UK Jalali appearing for the petitioner the Court observed that Sr Advocate UK Jalali stated that even the salary component has not been deposited so far though the judgment relating to other aspects has not been implemented at all. Justice Janak Raj Kotwal further observed that by not even paying the salary component, the respondents have called upon this Court to take coercive method for implementing the judgment and ordered that salary head of Govt Higher Education Dept, to the extent of salary of all the Gazetted officers of the Administrative dept is attached till the salary component is deposited in this Court and directed Director General Treasuries shall ensure that this order is strictly complied with.
