| Stop operation of residential area for commercial purpose : DB to Respondent | | | Early Time Report
Jammu, Jan 3 : A Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice MM Kumar and Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur today issued notice and directed that M/s Ravi Jewllers shall not operate any residential area for commercial purpose including the shops.
A letter from Amit Dalia, a social activist regarding constructions of illegal buildings in the Jammu City which include the Master Plan Violations was treated as Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in which an application was filed by one Parveen Kumar regarding alleged illegal construction at Residential which was converted into Shop by one Vijay Lakshmi c/o Ravi Jewllers.
When the hearing was taken up today a Division Bench of State High Court after hearing Adv BR Chandan for the applicant issued notice and directed that Vijay Lakshmi c/o Ravi Jewllers shall not operate any residential area for commercial purpose including the shops which are shown in the photographs attached with application.
