Jammu, Jan 7: Expressing his deep gratitude, Rajesh Gupta newly elected MLA from Jammu East hailed the people for supporting him in his endeavour to work for the cause of people and to spread meaningfully the ideology of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) with sincerity and strength. Rajesh Gupta while addressing a felicitation function organized in his honour at Chowgan Slathia locality near Mubarak Mandi in Ward No. 1 of Jammu East constituency, here today said that he will pursue his mission to ensure people's welfare using his acumen, vigour and earnestness. Interacting with the MLA, locals raised their problems including dilapidated lanes and drains, erratic power and potable water supply, etc. A series of deputations called on him and apprised their MLA with their problems. After listening to people's woes, Gupta assured that the issues concerning civic edifice will be looked after soon and he will propel the development of the constituency with exemplary swiftness. Among others who accompanied the MLA included Karan Singh, Purnima Sharma, Sunil Sharma, Naresh Abrol, Madan Singh, Sunil Gupta, Dalip Gupta, Gopal and Brij Lal. |
