Jammu, Jan 7: Terming union Home Minister Rajnath Singh's approval of concessions for West Pakistani Refugees a welcome step, BJP State President & Member of Parliament, Jugal Kishore Sharma today said that this is line with what BJP was thinking and also proves that party does what it says.
"In future, it will be easier for West Pakistani Refugees to get recruited in Para Military Forces & other concessions, more concessions for West Pakistani Refugees will follow in other areas as well," Jugal expected. He hoped that there are areas like Banking & Central Public Undertakings in which the West Pakistani Refugees can be given concessions.
He said it is rather a huge welcoming step that the Home Minister Rajnath Singh has asked his colleagues in the Govt. of India to accord similar concessions, by waiving of few conditions in defence. "The department of School Education, in the Ministry of Human Resources development, also has been asked to extend admission in the Kendriya Vidalaya in the State for the Children of West Pakistani Refugees & similar instructions have also been issued to the department of Higher Education, in the Ministry of Human Resource development to extend those concessions available to the wards of Kashmiri migrants, for the wards of West Pakistani Refugees also for the admission to Technical & Professional Institutes outside Jammu & Kashmir," he added.
"BJP does what it says & does not believe in empty promises. The BJP has delivered to West Pakistani Refugees on account of its promises within first six months & this shows the sincerity of party, Jugal said.
Welcoming in step of Home Minister Rajnath Singh step," Jugal said, that the West Pakistani Refugees will be fully rehabilitated in the days to come.
"They will enjoy fullest Indian Citizenship rights then they have ever done before, he said.
In the due course of time, BJP will be able to come up to the expectations of West Pakistani Refugees & deliver more, Jugal said. It is only a matter of time, that BJP helps these helpless lots & takes steps to rehabilitate them, he said. He further expected that in the days there is more to come for the West Pakistani Refugees, he said and added that this will take away the stigma of these loyal Citizens of India, still being tagged with the name of Pakistan.
While appreciating above, the concessions for PoK Refugees in J&K are also under active consideration of the Govt of India and a serious view is being taken to settle their long pending demands, which are in pipeline for implementation. |
