Colourful 'Nagar Kirtan' organized at Raika Labana 1/8/2015 12:06:38 AM Early Times Report Vijaypur, Jan 7: A colourful 'Nagar Kirtan' was organized today at village Raika Labana on the occasion of Parkash Utsav of 10th Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji in which large number of villagers irrespective to religion and caste participated. The Gurdawara Parbandak Committee of village Raika Labana organized this special religious occasion and also has invited Chander Parkash Ganga - MLA Vijaypur Assembly Segment as Chief Guest. On arrival of special invitee, S Jarnail Singh felicitated Chander Parkash Ganga by offering Saropa and a sword. Chander Parkash Ganga offered prayers at the Gurdawara and prayed for the betterment and peace of the J&K People. He while addressing gathering said that the people of J&K had defeated the bullet culture with the ballot. Referring to ceasefire violations by the Pakistan, he said that it is a serious matter and assured that the Government would solve their (border people) problems by providing a plot of 5 marlas to the border people in the safer place. He also said that it is time to teach the lesson to Pak and take step to destroy the militant camps functioning from across the border.
