Jammu, Jan 7: A lady doctor has leveled allegations against her parents and police for framing one Pardeep Sapolia in a false case of her kidnapping. She has also lodged an FIR against her parents over the issue at Rehari Police Post here.
Dr Anju Bala, daughter Sham Lal of Chak Aslam,R.S Pura, presently posted at Indira Gandhi Govt Dental College Hospital, Ambphalla , in her press statement has alleged that her parents in nexus with police lodged fabricated FIR of her kidnapping against her cousin Pardeep Sapolia at R S Pura Police Station.
She alleged that a day after the incident of false kidnapping case, her parents and one Jeevan Kumar appeared in the hospital and forcefully dragged her in a car which she objected. On her objection, she was beaten ruthlessly. Later, she lodged FIR against them at police post, Rehari. She said if she was further harassed, she would commit suicide and her parents and police would be responsible for it.
Meanwhile, a senior police officer, when contacted, said that R S Pura police lodged kidnapping case on the application of her parents. He said that police, during investigation came to know that there is a family dispute as her parents did not want her to marry her cousin who is father of two and is double of her age, adding, the girl has been asked to record her statement at police station, R.S Pura, for further legal action. |
