| Advocates organize party to felicitate newly elected MLA | | |  Early Times Report
Poonch, Jan 7: The advocates of Jammu High Court hailing from Poonch and Rajouri districts organized a felicitation party in the honour of newly elected MLA Poonch Shah Mohammad Tantray by wherein other renowned persons also participated.
Speaking at the occasion, Tantray thanked the advocates for the respect and regard they showed for him and assured them of his and his party's full support for resolving of public issues of twin districts.
While pointing towards the public's mandate he said that in valley and Pir Panjal region the people gave clear mandate in favour of PDP and in Jammu it is in favour of BJP and thus I personally feel it will be in the best interest of the public of J&K state if both parties form the next government.
He was of the opinion if both the parties are succeeded in framing a common minimum programme it will prove fruitful for the people of the state. He further said that the Congress and NC should also announce their unconditional support to Mufti Muhammad as he can play a pivotal role in maintaining friendly relations between India and Pak in the present situation.
Among party cadres who accompanied MLA Poonch included Shamim Dar, Shahzad Khan, Pirzada Syed Nisar Hussain, Sain Ali Akbar Khan, Haji Bashir Khaki and M Yusuf Sheikh. Earlier on his arrival he was welcomed by team of Advocate K K Pathan by presenting bouquets to distinguished guests. |
