| Man killed by lightning in Doda | | | Early Times Report
Doda, Apr 3: A youth died due to lightning currents in Arnora Bari area of Doda today evening.
An official said that Santosh Kumar (33) son of Late Lekh Raj resident of Arnora Bari, Doda died due to lightning. He said that he died after lightening currents struck him while he was working in his home.
After that he was shifted to District Hospital Doda for treatment where doctors declared him dead. It is notable to mention here that the lightning followed by deafening explosions led to panic with people trying to take cover for safety in various villages of Doda district. Following the thunderstorm, light rain lashed parts of Bhaderwah and Doda and continued for nearly an hour. |
