Early Times Report

BANDIPORA (Hajin), Apr 3: Police on Tuesday recovered a body of a youth who was abducted by the gunmen last night before leaving his three family members injured in Hajin area of this north Kashmir district.
The body of Nasir Ahmad Sheikh (23) alias Munna son in law of Farooq Ahmad Parrey was found near a bund in outskirts of Hajin.
Earlier, Police in a statement said that three members of a family received grievous injuries in late night militant attack at Hajin.
"At about 10:10 PM, 4 militants who are believed to be affiliated with LeT, barged into the house of Farooq Ahmad Parrey R/O Par Mohalla Hajin and without caring about the life and dignity of the inmates, fired indiscriminately inside the house," a police spokesman in a statement issued here had said.
In the incident three members received grievous injuries including wife, daughter and brother of Farooq; namely Rafeeqa, Neelofar and Hilal Ahmad Parrey. The militants also abducted Nasir alias Munna (the son in law of House owner) from there, the spokesman had said.
An FIR into the incident has been registered and investigation into the matter set into motion, the spokesman said.
It is pertinent to mention here that one son of Farooq namely Muzzafar Ahmad Parrey @Muzz Nata was killed by militants last summer.
"During an investigation, it has come to notice that local militant Mohammad Saleem Parrey has played a major role in the killing of the said innocent civilian," the police spokesman said in a statement.
Five foreign militants affiliated with LeT, Abu Muslim, Hubaib, Khalid, Abu Hamza and Haider are also involved in the killing, he added.
However if sources are to be believed they said that the dead body was recovered from a nearby nallah in Hajin outskirts just few kilometers away from his residence.
The deceased was kidnapped at gunpoint by suspected militants from the house of his in-laws last night around 10:15 pm, adding three of his relatives were injured after they tried to resist his kidnapping, sources told early times.
Sources said that the body bears visible bullet marks and that was handed over to the next of his kin after post-mortem for last rites.
