Auto Rickshaw Union threatens agitation for overcharging

Udhampur, Apr 3: Auto Union Threaten for agitation against MCU if they fail to control the contractor of Larri Adda for overcharging. A deputation of Auto Union Udhampur under the Presidentship of its President Rohit Sethi met with Chief Executive Officer Municipal Council Udhampur in connection with excess charges of Larri Adda Tax by the contractor.
Auto Union President Rohit Sethi has expressed with CO MCU Udhampur that contractor is charging excessive rates of Lari Adda Tax Rs 25 and 30 instead of Rs 10 for three wheeler and 15 for 4 wheeler. He has also shown some receipts to the officer concerned.
Chief Executive Officer, Municipal Council Udhampur Santosh Kotwal assured the deputation that appropriate action will be taken against the contractor if he found guilty and union also bond the authorities of MCU if they fail to stop this illegal practice of excessive charges then they will bound to go for agitation.
The CEO has accepted telephonically that at the time of c0ntract executed by the authorities of Municipal Council Udhampur. The lauri Adda Tax was quoted Rs 10 for three wheelers and Rs 15 for four wheelers. He further said that if contractor will found guilty a legal action has been taken against him even in this regard department may large an FIR against the contractor who is violating the terms and condition of the contract.
