| English translation of Balmiki's Ramayan hits stands | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 3: The English translation of Balmiki's Ramayana was today released in a joint function organised by Jammu Kashmir Nationalist Movement (JKNM) and Kashmir Hindu Conference (KHC) at Sanjeevani Sharma Kendrya Bohri. The book was translated by advocate ML Thusoo. Chairman JKNM and Dr K N Pandita was the chief guest on the occasion while PK convener Dr Agnishekhar and senior journalist and chairman Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal were the guests of honour.
The BJP MLCs Surindar Ambar dar and Ajay Bharti also graced the occasion. Former Excise Commissioner and a well known social activist Street Kensington Koul read a detailed paper on the book while P L Koul Budgami, convener KHC threw light on the book and life history of Advocate Thusoo. |
