Kishtwar youth called on G M AFCONS 5/29/2019 10:42:47 PM Early Times Report Kishtwar, May29: A deputation of Kishtwar Unemployed Youths led by Joginder Bhandari called upon the General Manager AFCONS company Pakal Dul Hydroelectric Project Masoodi and discussed employment related issues. The youth leaders while interacting with the General Manager said that hundred of unemployed youths of District Kishtwar are well experienced but unfortunately they have been denied employment in the project. Bhandari demanded that first priority of employment should be given to the local youths of the district as a number of youths are available in the district who were having sufficient experience in handling various kind of machinaries being used in hydro power projects. He also demanded that the drivers /operator and helpers engaged on hired dumpers and machinaries should be kept on the company roll and all benefits should be given to them. Bhandari further demanded that labor supply system should be totally abolished and all the man power engaged through contractors should be brought on company"s roll so that their service could be secured . The General Manager AFCONS gave patience hearing to the deputation and assured that their demands putforth shall be given due consideration on priority bases after Eid festival.
