Cop selling Charas to youngsters in Doda, video went viral SSP assures action, puts involved under suspension 5/29/2019 11:44:59 PM Early Times Report Doda, May 29: A cop from Jammu and Kashmir Police posted at Doda was caught red handed on Wednesday by locals near district hospital selling Charas to a local youth. A video on social media has gone viral in which a policeman can seen selling Charas to local youth that too within the premises of District hospital Doda. In no time the video was circulated on various social media platforms, creating a stir among the general public. The video also left parents worried over their kids and responsible citizens anxious about such sorry state of affairs. In a two minutes, a cop reportedly from Jammu and Kashmir police along with his wagonr car can be clearly seen selling Charas to some local youths of Doda town. As per the reports those buying it from the cop sell the substance to other youngsters of the town. A youth involved in the racket revealed that he brought Charas from the cop several times and sold some quantity of it to local youth of various localities around the Doda town. It is ironic that Doda police on one hand are active in bursting various scams within Doda district and on other hand some people reportedly associated with the department are bringing shame to it. Locals after watching the video said that it was disturbing to see those claim to be protecting the law being involved in breaking it in a broad day light. After hue and cry made by locals of Doda town, Police arrested the youth who can be seen buying the Charas from the policeman and investigation was initiated into the case.
