Early Times Report Jammu, May 29: Editor Early Times, Munish Gupta, on Wednesday urged the people to strengthen his hands so that he could fight for their cause and strive for their bright future. Carrying forward his mass contact programme in Lowe Gadigarh and adjoining areas, Munish told the people that there are many issues which common man faces in his day to day life but most of these issues remain unaddressed due to the "lackadaisical attitude" of the elected representatives. "I have come to you people to seek your support and Ashirvaad as I want to make a new beginning. I need your support and help to challenge the hegemony of those who have been ruling us for the past so many years," said, Munish, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an Independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency. He said, "I know it's not easy to challenge the politicians who have been calling the shots for the past so many years and have made the common man believe that they only can rule the state." Munish said, "We have to stand on our own feet and then strive for a change. We need to change our mindsets and give new people a chance." |
