Azadi shops won't reopen again
2/10/2020 9:38:30 PM
Pakistan stooges and the Azadi camp going out of circulation in Kashmir post August 5, 2019, has driven home a point that writ of the State is going to prevail and anyone who tries to defy this writ will have to face the consequences.
The separatists, who claimed that they represent a sentiment, have lost their addresses since the day Centre has been handling the J&K affairs directly. The line has been drawn. Sedition and separatism are unacceptable and the ones who will preach it would end up in a jail. Three former chief ministers of erstwhile J&K State being booked under Public Safety Act (PSA) should serve as an eye opener for those people who still believe that they can reopen their shops and restart their stalled businesses.
Attempts are being made by the people sitting across the Line of Control (LoC) to reactivate their agents in Kashmir so that they could once again call for strikes and orchestrate street protests. The Hurriyat Conference, which preached separatism and hate for the past three decades, has lost it's address. Hurriyat hawk Syed Ali Shah Geelani is ailing. On the other hand Hurriyat dove Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has maintained complete silence as he knows that if he opens his mouth, he could end up in Tihar Jail like the so-called JKLF chief Yasin Malik.
The second rung separatists have been behind the bars in connection with the terror funding case. In absence of its time, tested conduits, handlers of separatists and terrorists are looking for the new people, who can emerge on the scene and carry forward their propaganda. Since August 5, 2019, there has been tremendous decline in number of local youth joining the militant ranks in Kashmir. This is yet another setback for terrorist handlers. In absence of local stooges and dwindling number of terrorists, people across the LoC have been left with only one option i.e. to send more and more infiltrators. There has been no let up in the infiltration attempts but the robust counter infiltration at place along the LoC and International Border is not allowing terrorists to enter Jammu and Kashmir. Security Forces have been successful in thwarting the infiltration bids and keeping the terrorists at bay. The signals emanating from the other side are a clear indication that our neighbour has not given up even after losing the proxy war very badly. The coming summer in Kashmir could prove to be eventful.
