Sarpanch Dalogra along with goons beat up Forest Department employees

Rajouri, Feb 10: A local Sarpanch of village Dalogra of district Rajouri along with his goons have allegedly beaten forest guards when they tried to stop encroachment of forest land.
As per information, Sarpanch Mohammad Parvez had been carving out a road on forest land by engaging a JCB illegally. The concerned DFO Rajouri Sanjay Kumar Gupta taking note of matter sent three forest guards to stop the illegal activity.
When forest guards including Anil Kumar, Rakesh Kumar and Shahnawaz reached the spot, they stopped the JCB and took its key in their possession. The driver immediately called the Sarpanch and informed him about the matter. After sometime, Sarpanch along with 40-50 people reached the spot and attacked on the forest guards and beat them severely, in which Anil and Rakesh Kumar received serious injuries.
Sarpnch allegedly threatened forest employees of dire consequences if they tried to stop them and snatched the key of JCB from them. The forest guards, while talking to Early Times said that Sarpanch threatened them by saying that nobody can touch him. The injured employees were admitted to hospital for treatment and a police report in this connection was filed with Police Station Rajouri.
Employees appealed to DIG Vivek Gupta to direct the concerned SHO to take strict against erring persons. When contacted SHO Rajouri Sameer Jilani said that investigation is going on and FIR will be lodged accordingly. Meanwhile, DFO Rajouri Sanjay Kumar Gupta told Early Times that he met SHO Rajouri in this connection, and requested him to take action against Sarpanch and other people for assaulting on duty employees.
