GMS Banjala has no Math teacher, students suffer | | | ARUN JASROTIA EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, Feb 10: Students of Government Middle School (GMS), Banjala in Narore Panchayat of district Udhampur are unable to learn the basics of Mathematics as they have not been taught the subject for the last five months since a teacher for the subject is not available there. The non-availability of a Math teacher in the school is an ample proof that the School Education Department in district Udhampur is in deep slumber and playing with the future of the students. Students said that with no Math teacher, how they can perform well in board exams. Renuka Sharma, student of the school said that we are not able to study Math as we don’t have a teacher for the subject adding that we are confused that how will we prepare for the board exams, which is nearing close. She said that the future of students of our school is in jeopardy as Department has failed to depute a Math teacher for the last five months. “I request the Lt Governor to provide us with a mathematics teacher as we are poor and cannot afford to spend money on tuitions,” she said. |
