| Chadha pitches for formation of advisory councils | | |

Jammu, Feb 10: R K Chadha, President Citizens Fourm has extended full support to LG G C Murmu and said that people of UT would give their full cooperation in initiatives for rapid growth and development of the Union Territory. In a statement Chadha said that the rich leaders have amassed enormous funds while always giving wrong hopes to the common man that elections are the only solution to bring prosperity and development to them. On the contrary people from the core of their hearts are very happy and hopeful that this present system of Governance can build a new Jammu and Kashmir, he said.
“People are happy to get rid of corrupt leaders and watching the new vistas of development and are wishing to continue this system of government. We request you to form two separate Advisory Councils for Kashmir and Jammu regions of the Union Territory to fill the present advisory lot. The selection of advisory members should be other than any political party leaders or members as people of J&K UT have seen no tangible performance done by any of them for the last many years,” said Chadha. |
