JAMMU, Feb 10: The Police today produced three persons namely Sohail Lone, Sohib Manzoor and Zahoor Ahmed Khan involved in the Ban terror attack before the Court seeking police remand of 15 days.
Special Judge Subash C Gupta after hearing APP Sanjay Kohli for the U said that perusal of the CD file reveals that the above named accused were arrested on 09.02.2020 in the and above titled case for the commission of offences 307/120-B/121/122/123/IPC, 7/25/26/27 Indian Arms Act, 16/18/38/ 39ULA Act.
It is further revealed from the CD file that investigation of the case is in progress and it will take some time to conclude and observed that in view the nature of the case, the stage of investigation, submissions made by the IO of the case and the gravity of offences involved in the present matter, Court is of satisfied that police remand of the accused is imperative.
Therefore in view of the submissions made in the application, the accused are remanded to police custody for seven days. |
