Jammu, Feb 10: Shridhar Patil, took over the charge of SSP of District Jammu, the winter Capital of UT J&K. The officer is of 2010 – IPS batch of J&K cadre who replaced Tejinder Singh, IPS on his transfer.
During his service tenure, the officer remained posted at many important posts and was posted as SSP Kathua prior to his new place of posting. On assumption of new place of posting, the officer expressed that he will work in result oriented manner. He added that we have to
act proactively and put collective efforts to match the expectations of the general public. The Jammu Police will work as a team for the betterment of the society in co-operation with general public. The policing will be people friendly and there shall be transparency in Police work. It was emphasised that prompt, fair and efficient service for redressal of genuine grievances of common people would be ensured.
Special efforts would be taken in order to check the crime rate and drug menace in the society.
