Sarpanchs, religious leaders hold farewell for SSP Rajouri

RAJOURI, Feb 10: In order to appreciate 33 months long tenure of outgoing SSP Rajouri and his efforts to keep the district peaceful, Sarpanchs from different areas of the district organized a farewell party in honour of SSP Yougal Manhas who has been recently transferred from Rajouri.
Farewell party was organized by Sarpanchs who include Ali Choudhary, Haji Gulzar Ahmed, Munshi Khan, Jhangbaz Choudhary, Abul Aziz, Mukthar Hussain, Naib Sarpanch Mukthar Chowdhary, Chairman Ashraf Khan and other social activists including Guftar Chowdhary, Shahid Chowdhary, Moulvi Shabir, Ibrar Mirza, Javaid Mirza, Sparsh Ojha, Shahbaz Choudhary, Suresh Kumar and Ajaz Ahmed Dyderh.
Several other civil society members and political leaders including Former MLA Rajouri Chowdhary Qamar Hussain, Dr Nisar Ahmed, Tazeem Dar, Shafqat Mir, Jamsheed Ahmed, Asif Bhat, Dr. Ishtiyaq Ahmed whereas police officers including Additional SP Rajouri Liyaqit Ali, Deputy SP DAR Zaheer Abbas, Deputy SP Khaliq Hussain, SHO Rajouri Sameer Jillani were also present in the farewell event.
While addressing the event, all the participants hailed the tenure of Yougal Manhas as Senior Superintendent of Police in Rajouri and said that officer had set a trademark of people friendly policing in the district and achieved the biggest reward that is of public love and blessings of a common man. Meanwhile, addressing the event, outgoing SSP Rajouri Yougal Manhas said that people from Rajouri removed the tag from the district for being a sensitive one and have presented a much appreciable bond of harmony even in tough times.
