Bukhari macadamizes road to his Rangreth factory, allege R&B officials
Spends Rs 1 cr to give son runway like connectivity
10/2/2015 12:18:15 AM
Early Times Report Srinagar, Oct 1: Even as the busy main roads across Srinagar have not been repaired after the devastative 2014 floods, the R&B Minister Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari is alleged to be getting the road leading to his family-owned factory at SIDCO Industrial Estate macadamized on priority. Official alleged that around one crore rupees were being spent on the ongoing macadamization of roads inside the industrial estate, which should not have been the priority as the roads there were already blacktopped and needed minimal repairs. "But he(Bukhari) directed us to macadamize the roads afresh in a way as if they had to be macadamized for the first time," alleged a senior official in the R&B, adding that the road height has been increased by around nine inches to one feet. "Such kind of a macadamization is a record in itself and if any credible investigating agency probes it, the alleged muck of political interference will be exposed," said the official pleading anonymity. He alleged that the political interference was visible to anyone who enters the Rangreth industria...

Ram Madhav commended, BJP condemned
10/2/2015 12:17:50 AM
Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 1: An ardent supporter of the PDP the other day came out in support of BJP national general secretary and one of the main architects of the controversial agenda of alliance Ram Madhav and asserted that it was his intervention that made the local BJP leadership not to make any provocative statement on the ongoing controversy over the issue of bovine killing and consumption of beef. "Fortunately for the state the coalition partner BJPs points man in the state Ram Madhav doused rising passions by downplaying the beef crisis, triggered in the first place by a BJP lawyer (in this case Parimoksh Seth) who had invoked the High Court's powers to enforce a dormant...

Rana, others caught between devil and the deep sea
10/2/2015 12:17:41 AM
Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 1: With NC, which has already shown to the people its anti-Jammu face by submitting a bill in the Legislative Assembly seeking decriminalisation of cow slaughter in the state, now preparing to recapture the otherwise lost constituency of Kashmir through politics on the 'beef row', problems are surely to mount for MLA Devinder Rana and other Jammu NC leaders in the days to come. It would be virtually difficult for Rana and other NC leaders of Jammu to show their faces to the people here. Cow is a sacred animal for Hindus who have given her the status of a mother. Standing by Ali Mohammad Sagar, Mian Altaf and Mohammad Akbar Lone, who had on September 16 last s...

India's changing foreign policy towards Pakistan
10/2/2015 12:17:04 AM
Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 1: There appears a somewhat welcome change in the India's foreign policy vis-à-vis Pakistan. During the past few days, New Delhi made some right noises to tell Pakistan that while it was prepared to talk to Pakistan to resolve all bilateral issues between the two nations, it would want Islamabad to realize that if it sincerely believed in a serious dialogue with India, it had to stop exporting terrorism to India and also vacate Pakistan-occupied-Jammu & Kashmir (POJK), which was under its illegal occupation since 1947-1948. However, it was today that New Delhi took a clear line on Pakistan, Kashmir and terrorism. Candidly terming Pakistan a "prime sponsor o...

10/2/2015 12:16:09 AM
