Why now decry Govt for "withdrawal" of security?
They themselves faced similar accusations while they were in power
8/20/2015 12:29:38 AM
Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 19: While painting a dim picture of BJP-PDP alliance, Opposition Congress has denounced the Government for "withdrawing the security cover of some party leaders and other mainstream opposition leaders by design, even in the face of threats" notwithstanding the fact that similar accusations were off and on made against it inside and outside the legislature by then opposition parties when it was in power. It should not raise hue and cry if it is now being paid in the same coin. The issue has become the talking point in the state Congress, which has been plagued by internal bickering for the past over a decade, but it has brought the rivals within the party on a common platform. They, however, lack the vigour to make a political issue out of it, knowing somewhere in their hearts that they faced the similar allegations from the opposition parties while they were in power. JKNPP has also joined the chorus against the Government for the withdrawal of security cover of some of its leaders. While all these politicians are out of power now after their crushin...
