Kishtwar, July 23: Expressing concern over nonpayment of MNREGA wages, a deputation of Public Awareness Front (PAF) under the leadership of its President Shakir Saddiqui called on Assistant Commissioner Development Kishtwar (ACD).
According to press release, Shakir Siddiqui said that the job card holders in MGNREGA were being deprived for wages for the years together, added that during the holy month of Ramzan, the basic necessity required for the celebration of upcoming Eid festival was missing, leaving public in depression.
He threatened to launch an agitation if their wages would not be released soon.
They also met AD food Kishtwar and showed concern over black marketing of government ration and laid stress on the availability of Kerosene oil, Sugar, Rice , Flour in near by depot during Eid festival. |
