Early Times Report

JAMMU, Oct 29 : With BJP already given a green signal to some of the candidates as probable candidates in the State Assembly elections prior to release of formal list by the Party, BJP leaders Sunil Sharma, Shakti Parihar, Dilip Parihar, Talib Hussian, Ravinder Raina, Dr Heena Bhat, Chander Parkash Ganga have already started campaigning in their respective Constituencies soon after the announcement of election dates by the Election Commission of the State.
These candidates have already started campaigning without release of official list by the Party. Sunil Sharma who has been already cleared by the Party as a candidate for Kishtwar Assembly segment held a meeting of office bearers at Kishtwar yesterday in which the Party Prabhari for the district Manish Sharma also participated. The meeting decided the poll strategy for the two Assembly segments of Kishtwar and Inderwal and urged the Booth Committee members to remain in constant contact with voters and ensure maximum participation of the people in elections.
Shakti Parihar whom Party has shifted from Inderwal Assembly Segment to Doda Assembly segment held extensive tour of some segments of his constituency during last two days seeking vote for him and his Party. Parihar visited far flung areas of his Constituency during last two days of intensive campaigning. He also held meetings with booth Committee members at various places and highlighted their crucial roll in these elections.
Talib Hussian who is the Party candidate for Rajouri Assembly segment has launched the campaigning even before the declaration of election dates by EC.
A confident Hussian is emerging as a formidable challenge to NC-Congress and PDP candidates in the Constituency. Dr Heena Bhat whose name has already been cleared by Party for Amira Kadal Assembly segment in Kashmir Valley, has started her campaign from Jammu by wooing the migrant voters of his Constituency. She held a meeting of the displaced BJP leaders here for two days in different areas and urged them to launch a door to door campaign in migrant locations to seek vote for her. Chander Parkash Ganga who was also in race for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat in April is likely to be repeated as Party candidate from Vijaypur Assembly Segment has already started campaign much ahead of declaration of election dates in the State.
Likewise BJYM State chief, Ravinder Raina is also confident of being given mandate from Nowshera Constituency and nowadays he is busy in touring some localities of the Assembly segment.Dilip Parihar who has also been given go ahead by the Party is busy in campaigning in Bhadarwah Assembly segment. However the fate of 10Party MLAs is uncertain because till date the BJP has not given any indication to them and in most of the constituencies represented by them the rival candidates are also in race and a sizable section of the Party leadership is opposed in repeating them in view of the humiliation suffered by the party due to cross voting in 2010.
