RCC Srinagar, ICC, JKP win in T20 Cup

Jammu, Nov 10: The RCC Srinagar, ICC and J&K Police won their respective matches to move into the next round of the ongoing IIIrd Eid-Diwali Milan Twenty20 Cricket Cup at Gulshan Ground, here today.
In the first match of the day, RCC Srinagar defeated Cantonment Cricket Club by three wickets. Batting first, Cantonment made 174 runs for six wickets in 18 overs game with Vijay (68 off 38 balls) and Rahul (35 off 25 balls) being main scorers. Dilbag took two wickets while Ambroose, Rohit, Kuldeep and Satish shared apiece each. In reply, RCC Club achieved the target in last 18th over of the game losing seven wickets. Satish and Sandeep were highest scorers with 61 and 37 runs in their respective accounts. Parshotam took three wickets while Arif bagged two from Cantonment Club.
Satish was named man of the match for his match winning knock of 61 runs.
Meanwhile, in another match of the day, ICC scripted a comfortable eight-wicket win against Haryana XI. Earlier, batting first, Haryana made 113 runs in the given 16 overs losing eight wickets. Anil (22), Naveen (14) and Aman (13) were main contributors to the score. From Haryana, Arjun took two wickets while Aslam and Lada shared apiece each.
Later, ICC achieved the target in just 11 overs for the loss of two wickets. Atul made 53 runs and Kaka added 33 runs. Surinder took both wickets. Atul was declared man of the match.
In third scheduled match of the day, J&K Police trounced Royal Cricket Club by eight wickets. Batting first, Royal Club made 130 runs losing nine wickets. Vishu played fine innings of made 56 runs while Naman scored 15 runs for Royal Club. Shamsher Singh took two wickets while Vishal and Balwan bagged one each.
In reply, JKP achieved the target in 18.1 overs with eight wickets in hand. Naresh and Farooq Ahmad played unbeaten innings of 65 and 50 runs respectively. Naresh declared man of the match for his superb batting.
Today's matches officiated by the technical penal including Sadiq Hussain, Sunil Sambayal, Sandeep Manchanda, Suhail Yusuf, Farooq Ahmad and Yogesh.
FIXTURE: Royal Club V/S Sai Cricket Club at 8 am; KC Sports Club V/S Cantonment Club at 11.00 am; Simula XI V/S Tanishta at 1.00 pm.
