Instead of pacifying the annoyed leaders who were denied tickets, some senior Congress leaders, according to credible sources, are instigating annoyed leaders to quit the party and contest assembly elections are rebel candidates. Sources said that a group within the party, now a days, is busy in formulating strategy to ensure defeat of their official candidates to teach a lesson to the their opponents in the party. Two days back, a meeting of Congress leaders was held in the residence of senior leaders where party leaders formed strategy to defeat other party candidates who do not belong to their own faction. Credible sources said that Thakur Puran Singh, who has joined BJP two days back, was not interested to quit the party. Rather he wanted an assurance from the leadership that he would be accommodated if Congress will be part of the next government. But instead of giving him assurance, a faction instigated him to say good bye to the party. Same is the story of Jat leader ChowdharyGaru Ram. Party has virtually abandoned him and forced him to quit the party. |
