Court denies bail to accused in 'kidnapping, rape of minor'

Jammu, Nov 10 : Presiding Officer Fast Track Court Y P Kotwal today rejected the bail application of one Shamsher Lal who was allegedly involved in a kidnapping and rape of a minor. Presiding Officer Fast Track Court YP Kotwal after hearing both the sides observed that rape is not only a crime against the person of women and female but is a crime against the society and with these observations the court rejected the bail application. According to the police case that on October 18, 2013 father of the prosecutrix lodged a missing report in police station Domana that his minor daughter was missing and requested police to take necessary action after some days police recovered the girl from Shamsher Singh and registered a FIR u/s 363/376 RPC.
