GhambirMughlan locals call on Div Com over shifting of Naibat office

Jammu/Rajouri, Nov 10 : A deputation of inhabitants of GhambirMughlan of Rajouri district today called on Divisional Commissioner Shant-manu in connection with shifting of 'Naibat office' from GhambirMughlan to Kotli-Kalaban. Deputation led by M S Mughal, Chairman J&K Human Development Foundation (JKHDF) and represented by Ahsan-ul-HaqMalik ,PhD Scholar, Shazad Mughal and others during their meeting with Divisional Commissioner submitted a memorandum to him and also brought to his attention that there is rumours in air some political leaders for their vested interests in the ensuing assembly elections are pressurizing the concerned authorities to shift the niabat reasons better known to them. Deputationists however expressed their gratitude for creating a Niabat in their locality but they said that there is great resentment among people since there were reports about the shifting of headquarter of the Niabat to Kotli Kala. They said GhambirMughlan is centrally located and all other government offices including Higher Secondary School, PHC, Dak Bungalow etc are functioning from Ghambir Mughlan which is densely populated area in the locality. Delegation also apprised that Niyabat was created by government order NO: Rev (S) 169 of 2014 dtd 18/7/2014 at GhambirMughalan however, later under SRO 448 dtd 21/10/ 2014, the headquarter was changed to KotliKalaban. The Divisional Commissioner gave a patient hearing to the grievances raised by the deputation and assured that matter will be seen through. He added that he will discuss the matter with Commissioner Secretary to State Government, Revenue Department for the redressal of issue.
