JAMMU, Dec 12: To prepare its already selected teams, University of Jammu (JU) shall be holding coaching camps for the upcoming inter-university competitions in the disciplines of wrestling and powerlifting on the campus here from December 15. “While coaching for wrestlers shall take place at Gymnasium Hall, the camp for powerlifting is being organised at the health centre on the campus,” camp incharge, Jai Bharat Sharma said. After around fortnight-long coaching sessions, the powerlifting team shall depart for the inter-university competitions at Punjab Technical University (PTU) Jallandhar from December 28.
Similarly, the selected wrestling team shall be playing in the inter-university meet scheduled to be held at Kurukshetra University in the first week of January. |
