 Kishtwar, Feb 12: Public Awareness Front (PAF) Kishtwar today held a press conference at Dak Banglow Kishtwar wherein they raised several public importance issues and seek their immediate redresser from president government, besides slamming the Power Development Department (PDD) for frequent electricity cuts. While addressing the media person, PAF President Shakir Siddiqui said that the power scenario in the district Kishtwar is a very serious matter and prolonged power cut have made the life of common people miserable and students in particular. He said that there is immediate need to make 132/33 KV grid station Qater samna Kishtwar functional, beside completion of 132/33 KV transmission line from Ramban to Kishtwar at least up to Khalni Doda grid in first phase, that too within next 2/3 months, construction of new 220/132/33 KV grid station at Marwah, construction of new 33/11 KV receiving station along with 33/11 KV transmission line between Matta and Hatta , beside for Padder, Padyarna and Marwah along with augmentation of receiving station at Kishtwar . He warned RDD department against delay in payment of MGNREGA job card holders, added that Consumers Affairs and Public Distribution department is totally failed in providing the ration to the people including free ration. He said that CEO kishtwar fail to detach teachers attach in ZEo’s and CEO kishtwar office. Ghulam Hussain Munshi, Mohammad Iqbal & sanjay Parihar also remain present on this occassion. |
