| POONCH, Feb 12 : Legal Metrology Department, Poonch under the supervision of Assistant Controller Kewal Krishan conducted surprise raids in Mandi and Sathra areas of Poonch. One business establishment was found to be packing and selling breads and biscuits without printing on pack the MRP, Net Content, date of packing and address of packers. The manager and proprietor of the packing unit were booked. On further investigations it had been found that the management was packing the breads and biscuits without mandatory packer license. The Assistant Controller imposed a fine Rs.10000 and directed the firm to apply for packer license immediately. |
