JMC continues anti- encroachment drive

Jammu, Feb 12 : The Enforcement Staff of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) led by Chief Enforcement Officer under the guidance of Er. Kiran Wattal Commissioner JMC continued the anti encroachment drive to clear the footpaths /pavements from encroachments hampering the free movement of vehicular traffic.
The team undertook the drive in the areas of Indira Chowk, BC Road, Panjthirthi, Jewel Chowk, Akhnoor Road, Talab Tillo and seized 06 no's of trucks load of goods / articles which included a sizable no's of reharies plying without Reharies Licenses.
The drive has been conducted with the help of Police Force from District Police Lines, Jammu.
The Jammu Municipal Corporation has appealed to the Reharies owners / pullers to keep the Reharies Mobile as the stationary Reharies are a source of traffic jams and further the shopkeepers are also requested to refrain from making encroachments and keep their goods / articles within their shops / establishments to avoid seizure of these goods and penalty for such defaults.
