ABVP criticizes special treatment to JURSEA president 2/12/2015 11:55:25 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 12 : ABVP today criticized Jammu University authorities regarding special treatment was given to JURSEA president. According to press release, ABVP president Sandeep Sharma said that JURSEA president Sukhdev Singh attending the two institutes at same time during recent academic council meeting of varsity. He further said that Sukhdev Singh illegitimate PhD research scholar, Department of Urdu, University of Jammu has attended the two institutes as a regular candidate at same time during his one year M.Phil Course in the department of Urdu, University of Jammu. He also lauded that Sukhdev Singh got the admission in M.Phil Urdu (one year regular programme) in March 2012 and simultaneously joined as Patwar Trainee on 18th of Oct 2012 in the Revenue Training Institute Jammu, and put the attendance November 2, 2012 onward. "Sukhdev Singh has also submitted an affidavit in Revenue Training Institute that I am not pursing any other course other than Patwar trainee", Sharma said, adding that Sukhdev Singh has attended the 111 classes in the Revenue Training Institute during his regular Urdu M. Phil Course in the University of Jammu. Sandeep Sharma also said that University authorities has completely suriender against this goon and in spite of taking any action against him for pursuing M.Phil course and Patwar training simultaneously, the University authorities has registered him in the department of Urdu, Ph.D programme which is very unfortunately part of the Jammu University that administration has violated the University norms/calendar/statutes. Regarding this large number of students and scholars had approached to the University authorities about this blasphemy. Instead of taking any action against the culprit the University has constituted a committee to look into the matter in details. The committee has put out of sight all the facts and given the recommendation on the basis earlier relaxation given by the University authorities to other students for the period of less than 20 days. Lokinder Singh , ABVP Research scholar convener said some goons are continuously protesting in the University against the new VC from the day first he joined as officiating VC of the JU. These goons have very close proximity to the earlier VC and have played a large role in the JU administration during the regime of former VC Prof. MPS Ishar.
