Medical outreach campaign organized

Rajouri, Feb 20: Nowshera Brigade under the aegis of Ace Of Spades Division organized two days Medical Outreach Campaign for veterans which was conducted by Runglidhara regiment and was inaugurated today by Brigadier Satinder Singh, Deputy GOC, Infantry Division.
Army spokesman said that the main object to hold this camp was to extend medical facilities at the doorsteps of the veteran as well as their family members. "During the camp the medical checkup of the veterans ,residing in remote and far flung villages and near Line of Control (LoC), will also be conducted and necessary medical treatment will also be provided to the needy" said Brigade spokesman.
He added 310 Veterans including 110 females and 45 children were treated/checked in the camp. Complete check up of Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Cardiac Illnesses, Cervical /Breast Cancer, Oral Cancer, Obesity, Anaemia, common Eye & ENT Diseases, Dental Health and ECG were also carried out.
