PDS food grain supply truck seized from private mill 2/20/2015 11:30:32 PM Arun Trisal Early Times Report KATHUA, Feb 20 : A dealer of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD) was caught red handed here today while embezzling the subsidized government ration in a private mill. After getting specific information, Sarpanch Ladwal Panchayat Rakesh Kumar along with other panchayat members rushed to the premises of Rameshwar Rice Mill and caught the CAPD dealer identified as Rameshwar Sharma who was trying to unload subsidized government ration in a private mill. As many as 120 bags of ration were seized from the possession of Rameshwar Sharma. The bags were meant for Chak Ganga Ram village of Kathua. Sarpanch and other locals immediately informed the Police who under the supervision of SDPO Border Diwakar Singh, SHO Rajbagh and Chowki Incharge Chadwal took swift action and rushed to the spot and seized the truck that was ready to unload in the premises of a private Rice Mill.
