Who will rule Trikuta Nagar? Police versus BJP MLA 2/20/2015 11:51:55 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 20: While a BJP MLA is desperately trying to get a police Inspector of his choice posted as SHO of Trikuta Nagar police station, some senior police officers are opposed to it and want their favourite officer to sit in the chair of the SHO. The MLA's proposal in this regard was stated to have been rejected by the police officers who, according to sources, had made a proposal to post their favourite Inspector as Trikuta Nagar police station SHO. This Inspector is at present posted at PCR here and is well connected. He enjoys close relations with many of his "bosses". Earlier also, he has remained SHO of some police stations in Jammu. He headed a police station before the start of Assembly elections in the state but was transferred to PCR due to his long stay in Jammu. Since elections were over, some officers were now trying to post him as SHO of Trikuta Nagar police station in place of the Inspector who was posted there in the recent past, sources informed. Even as the MLA was opposed to the "blue eyed" Inspector's posting as Trikuta Nagar police station SHO, the officers were using all their resources to get it done, sources said.
