Jammu, Feb 20 : Putting the credibility of the Jammu and Kashmir Police at stake, the delegation of Shri Amarnath Barfani Langars Organization (SABLO) delegation demanded CEO SASB to hand over security and maintenance of law and order of Shri Amarnathji Yatra to army or paramilitary forces. The demand of SABLO for replacement of JKP was raised in their memorandum keeping in view of the failure of police to curb the incident of loot and burning of tents by some miscreants at Baltal in the year 2014, Sheshnag in 2013 and in Chandanwari the year 2012, besides their casual approach towards Bhandarawalas. Other demands they handed over to the CEO SASB including development of infrastructure as per Supreme Court's order, resumption of on spot registration of yatra, simplification of issuance of Compulsary Health Certificate, subsidy to bhandara organizations on petroleum and food products, free night shelter to yatries besides others. Present in the meeting including Sarvshri R.K.Gupta CEO, Jitender Singh and PP Singh, both Addl CEOs and Pankaj Anand Deputy CEO.The delegation was led by Vijay Thakur (president), Rajan Gupta (general secretary), Amar Goel (finance secretary), Charan Dass Gaba, Trilok Oberoi,Davinder Uppal Parveen Bindal,Pankaj Soni, Raja Kuldeep Singh, Vijay Mehra,Sanjeev Anand, Jinesh Arora and Prem Kumar. |
