VO registers case against the then Naib Tehsildar, Patwari 3/16/2015 9:59:10 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 16: State Vigilance Organsiation (SVO) today registered case against the then Naib Tehsildar and Patwari Jourian for fraudulently changing the nature of land measuring 48 Kanals by showing it under cultivation from Gair Mumkin Khad to Varyal Doyam without any competence and in utter violation of the relevant acts and rules. "The verification into allegations revealed that Sukh Ram then Naib Tehsildar Jourian and Ajit Kumar then Patwari after hatching conspiracy with Balbir Singh, Jasbir Singh and Tarseem Singh, illegally changed the nature of land measuring 48 Kanals by showing it under cultivation without any competence and in utter violation of the relevant acts and rules," the official spokesperson said. Official spokesperson said, "Investigations further revealed that in khasra No. 430/1, the nature of land from Gair Mumkin Khad to Varyal Doyam has been illegally changed in 113 kanals of land out of which entry of 88 kanals including the aforementioned 48 kanals has been made by then Naib Tehsildar Jourian and others during the year 2009." "Meanwhile the illegal entry of remaining 25 Kanals of land has been made by the predecessors of said Naib Tehsildar and others during their respective period of postings, he said and added, "thus omissions and commissions on the part of the above mentioned public servant constitute offences punishable u/s 5(1)(d) r/w 5(2) of J&K PC Act 2006 and Sec 120-B RPC and accordingly a case FIR No. 12/2015 at P/S VOJ stands registered in Vigilance Organization and investigation was taken up.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
