Gun license applications witness surprising 'rise' 2/3/2016 10:31:14 PM Early Times Report Bhaderwah, Feb 3: Whether it is obsession for arms or insecurity but the Bhaderwah the popularly known as mini Kashmir is witnessing an alarming increase in the demand of fire arms license, official sources said. They said that the piles of application are pouring for gun licences in Bhaderwah town of Doda district Sources informed that from the last one month the Tehsildar Bhaderwah office have been flooded with such applications and the authorities are particularly apprehensive over the sharp rise noticed for the demand of gun license from rural and urban areas as well. It is notable to mention here that the State Home Department some years back had come up with strict guidelines on issuance of gun licenses in Jammu and Kashmir.
