Early Times Report

Jammu, Feb 3: For the first time in past 25-years Pakistan has admitted that it has been supporting militant groups in Kashmir and its soil is being used to unleash terror against India.
A Pakistani Parliamentary panel headed by ruling Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) lawmaker Awais Ahmad Leghari, has proposed the Government should take action against "violent armed outfits" to dispel international concerns that Pakistan was not doing enough against groups involved in attacks in Kashmir.
It has also said: "Pakistan should not encourage calls for active support to armed, banned, militant groups in Kashmir." "The revelations made by Pakistan Parliamentary panel have made it clear that Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has no control over the military and its foreign policy. This report has put the Pakistan Prime Minister in a tight spot and has left him embarrassed," said an analyst.
He said report submitted by Pakistan Parliamentary panel has vindicated the stand of India that Pakistan is a "breeding ground for terrorists" and its Army has been fighting a proxy in Jammu and Kashmir for the past 25-years. "The Pakistan sponsored terrorists have left no stone unturned to bleed JK and India. Pakistan has carried out numerous attacks in India during the past two and half decades. The people behind these attacks have never been punished. They have enjoyed all the facilities and privileges despite them being criminals," the analyst added.
A retired Army official said, "International community should take a note of the report submitted by the Pakistan Parliamentary panel and allow India to act against the terrorists operating from Pakistan soil."
He said, "If Pakistan is sincere it should handover the wanted terrorists and their leaders to India so that they can be prosecuted and dealt as per the law of the land. If it cannot do so it should allow Indian forces to enter into its territory and destroy the terrorist camps operational there."
A defence analyst while talking to Early Times said, "The report submitted by the Pakistan Parliamentary panel proves that politicians in Pakistan are weak and they have no say in military affairs of the country. First Pakistan Army supported insurgency in Punjab and then it shifted its focus from Punjab to Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan Army left no stone unturned to take revenge of the defeats which it faced during various wars with India."
He said, "It's high time for Pakistan to realize that the snakes which it had fed during all these years have turned into Pythons and have the potential to destroy their own country."
"The report of the Pakistani panel has punctured the tall claims of a few people about insurgency in JK being a local affair. Now it has been proved beyond doubt that Pakistan has been the breeding ground for terrorists and it has been using its men and machinery to attack India."
