BJP-PDP responsible for present constitutional crisis in state: Cong | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 3: In a joint statement Congress leaders stated that the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are sole responsible for the present constitutional crisis in the state for which the common man of the state is suffering badly due to failure of both the parties for formation of a stable government in Jammu and Kashmir. "Both the parties have different political ideology and agenda as well but came together but it is a matter of great concern that both parties, even after in government for ten months now getting shy to form government, they said. Senior Congress leader Dr Sharma stated that there is no change in the number of both coalition partners except one due to the death of Mufti Mohammed Sayeed. "The general public is compelled to draw conclusions that both the parties are indulge in political drama to take political mileage. Both the parties are showing irresponsible behavior by delaying formation of government and thus befooling the peoples' mandate, he added. He questioned why they (BJP-PDP) are hesitating to form a government and have pushed the state under Governor's Rule which is not a healthy sign for a democratic setup in the strategic state like Jammu and Kashmir. Besides Dr Manohar Lal Sharma, the joint signatories including Yogesh Sawhney former Minister and general secretary, Mohinder Bhardwaj Sr advocate and Subash Gupta Distt President and former MLC strongly criticized the BJP and PDP and its leadership for creating a chaos, confusion and destabilization the state of Jammu and Kashmir for fulfilling their hidden agenda |
