Burglars decamp with jewellery

Jammu, May 2: Some unidentified burglars broken into the house of a government employee in Prem Nagar of Jammu city and decamped with gold ornaments weighing around 16 tolas and silver ornaments weighing around two to three kgs.
Police sources said that the complainant identified as Ashok Kumar s/o Badri Nath of H- 32 Prem Nagar of Jammu reported the matter with local police that he along with his wife went to Sukrala Mata in Billawer yesterday afternoon and his sons were not present in the house.
"When they came home in evening they found their house burgled with household items scattered all around and Almirahs too broke opened. He stated that burglars have decamped with gold ornaments weighing around 16 tola and silver ornaments weighing around two to three kgs.
"After getting the complaint a team of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) experts was sent to the spot for lifting the circumstantial evidences, police sources said, adding, "a case in this connection stands registered and further investigation is on.
However, no arrest was made when last reports came in, police sources said.
