A cross-LoC truck service is expected to be launched in a few months and modalities in this regard will be discussed at the next week's Foreign Secretary-level talks in Islamabad to launch the fourth round of Composite Dialogue.
At the two-day talks from March 13, India will press for effective action on ground by Pakistan on its concerns over cross-border terrorism as there is no decline in infiltration and terror infrastructure is still in tact.
The two sides will discuss liberalisation of visa regime and discuss ways to promote visits by pilgrims.

India and Pakistan have eased restrictions on movement of each other's diplomats, allowing them to travel beyond the respective capitals without permission.
As per the understanding, Indian diplomats in Islamabad can go to Taxila and Hassanabad (Panja Saheb) and Pakistani diplomats here can go to Noida and Gurgaon.
The arrangement was formalised last Friday when the two countries exchanged documents in this regard, official sources said here today.

| | | | On board ‘Samjhauta’, passengers to compromise with luggage | | | | NEW DELHI | MAR 9 Passengers travelling on Samjhauta Express will be allowed to carry only two pieces of luggage weighing a maximum of 35-kg following last month's blasts in the train that killed 68 people.
"Extra luggage, if any, can be booked in the luggage van after security check," Railway Minister Lalu Prasad said in a written reply in Rajya Sabha.
The fire due to explosions in two coaches of Delhi-Attari Express on the night of February 18 killed 68 people and injured 12.
"There is no proposal at present to shift departure point of the train," Prasad said.
New security measures introduced after the incident include frisking of all passengers and manual checking of their luggage.

Eminent Kashmiri poet Rehman Rahi has won the prestigious Jnanpith award for the year 2004.
Rahi was selected for the award by a panel comprising noted personalities like Mahashweta Devi, C T Indira, Sitanshu Yashaschandra, Ramakant Rath and Gopi Chand Naranag.
The panel was chaired by noted scholar L M Singhvi. Rahi, 82, is one of the most eminent poets and critics of the Kashmiri language.
Through his work, he has profoundly enriched and influenced Kashmiri language -- thereby making a significant contribution in the Indian literary field. Some of his notable creations include Nauroz-e-Saba (The Morning Zephyr), Sanaweni Saaz and Siyaah-Rooda-Jaren Manz.
