3/19/2024 10:38:50 PM
Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 19: Although two Principals in the School Education Department have been demoted as teachers after post-graduation degrees were found fake, many more are likely to face the same action because the process to reverify correspondence degrees is going on. Sources said that post graduate degrees procured by teachers through correspondence from some unknown degrees would be reverified to check authenticity. Important to mention here that the Jammu and Kashmir School Education Department has taken action against two Principals who were found to have obtained their positions as acting principal and senior lecturer using fraudulent postgraduate degrees. Investigations revealed that one of the Principals claimed to have earned a PG degree in Chemistry from Magadh University in 2003, a program that the university did not offer at the time. Both of them were serving as Principal in Higher Secondary Schools in the Samba and Kathua districts respectively. Apart from recovery from the day of promotion as incharge lecturers to Principals, both of them h...
