Jammu, Mar 14: The aggrieved ETT students and the stakeholders under the banner of "Joint Action Committee (JAC) of state ETT Colleges" continued their indefinite dharna on the 11th consecutive day here today at JK School Board of School Education, Rehari, Jammu. Noticing the mute spectator role of the state government, above mentioned JAC, decided to invite the distinguished civil society members and leaders of different social & political groups on Friday to their due cooperation in their just and genuine protest. Speaking on the occasion Dr Hari Dutt Shishu, an active member of JAC said that they shall seek the consultation and suggestions of the distinguished civil society members including the social & political groups for intensifying the agitation. He also sought the immediate intervention of education minister to weed out those who are exploiting them. S Deep Singh, another active member of JAC. Sensitive issue of pending exams of aggrieved ETT students need to be addressed by the state school education minister as the same is now purely under his jurisdiction. |
