Jammu, Mar 14: In a state where its tech- savy Chief Minister often keeps informing its people with his regular tweets on other social networking sites about his activities and reactions to world events but his tall claims about e-Governance utterly fails on ground reality as for the official website the Minister for Revenue and Relief is still Raman Bhalla.
The tech-savy Chief Minister Omar Abdullah too has apprised about the matter through a formal complaint with CM Grievance cell vide no 38607 by RTI activist Raman Sharma demanding rectification of website and action against laxity of the officers concerned.
Although Chief Minister Omar Abdullah about two months ago i.e. on Jan 15 this year reshuffled his cabinet, inducted new faces and swapped portfolios of various ministers where Minister Raman Bhalla was relieved from Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation portfolio and was assigned the new assignment of Housing, Horticulture and Culture ministry but perhaps officers concerned have failed to update the official website.
If it is their utter negligence that official website of the Jammu and Kashmir Revenue Department (http://jkrevenue.nic.in/index.html) still has Raman Bhalla as " Hon'ble Minister for Revenue and Relief' Why the name of Ajaz Ahmed Khan the fresh incumbent Revenue minister has been ignored by the officers for the reasons best known to the them, but this of course is very regrettable on the part of the senior officers at the helms of affairs.
