JAMMU, Mar 14: Senior National Conference leader and former MLC Bushan Lal Bhat today called on Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Mir Saif-ullaha and apprised him about the Management of Temples and Shrines of Kashmir Valley.
Bhat informed the Minister that the Shrine Bill is pending before the Legislative Assembly from the last four years and demanded that the Bill may kindly be passed during the current Assembly session, so that the confidence of Kashmiri Pandit community may be restored further as the government has already given assurance to the Management from time to time.
The Minister assured that he will look into the matter and action will be taken on appropriate time. Commissioner Secretary, Law, was also present on the occasion.
