jammu, Mar 14: Jammu State Morcha (JSM) has strongly condemned the attack on security forces in Kashmir valley and held the state government responsible for it soft policy towards the secessionist and militants. Addressing a press conference the JSM members expressed their condolences to the bereaved families and asked the state government to pay at least 12 Lakh to the bereaved families as compensation out of state exchequer. They held the Kashmiri leadership of National Conference and PDP responsible for the situation erupted in the Valley after the death of Afzal Guru. “It made provocative statements and incited the people making them to indulge in violent protests” they said, adding that the Union government should given a clear signal to NC and PDP, that it would no longer remain soft towards activities of secessionism and other activities against national interest. Those present in the Press Conference includes Prof. Virender Gupta, H.B. Khajuria, Chandra Uday, Divender Singh Jamwal, Subash Sharma, Vijay Dogra and Surjeet Singh. |
