Jammu, Aug 21: Police today claimed to have arrested one absconder evading his arrest for the last nine years involved in criminal cases registered against FIR No. 241/04 U/S 379, 302/04 of Police Station Gandhi Nagar and FIR No 61/05 U/S 379, 90/05 of Police Station Janipur. The accused has been identified namely as Surjeet Kumar S/O Mohan Lal R/O Chakrohi Tehsil R S Pura. Police reports said that following specific information a special team of Police Station R S Pura under the direct supervision of SP Hqrs Jammu today raided hide out of the absconder and arrested him for evading his arrest against FIR No. 241/04 U/S 379, 302/04 U/S 379 of Police Station Gandhi Nagar and FIR No. 61/05 U/S 379, 90/05 U/S 379 of Police Station Janipur . "The accused is evading arrest since long and four general warrants of arrest U/S 512 CrPC were pending against him, police said. |
